Slider Revolution Element

The Slider Revolution element puts a slider that you built in the Slider Revolution plugin into a column of your page. You create and edit the slider in Slider Revolution. The element only decides where on the page it appears.

Use it when a page needs one of your Slider Revolution sliders in the middle of the content, between other elements.

When the Element Is Available

The element is part of the Builder only while the Slider Revolution plugin is installed and active. When the plugin is not active, Slider Revolution is missing from the element list, and an element that is already on a page no longer shows its slider.

Add a Slider to a Page

  1. Create the slider in Slider Revolution and save it there.
  2. Open the page in the Builder and add the Slider Revolution element to a column.
  3. Choose your slider under Select Slider. The list shows the titles of your sliders.
  4. Save the page.

In the Builder you see the name of the chosen slider instead of the moving slider. Open the page as a visitor to see the result.

Options

Option What it does
Select Slider Lists every slider that exists in Slider Revolution, by title. The first entry, “Select a slider”, means no slider is chosen.

The element remembers the slider by its alias, the short name Slider Revolution gives every slider. Size, timing, navigation and the slides themselves are settings of the slider in Slider Revolution.

Note: If you change a slider’s alias in Slider Revolution, the element no longer finds it. Open the element and choose the slider again.

Tips

  • For a slider that should span the whole browser width, place the element in a container whose content is set to full width, and choose the matching layout in Slider Revolution.
  • A new slider does not appear in Select Slider while the element’s options are open. Close the options, reload the Builder and open them again.
  • The element itself loads nothing from other servers. What a slider loads, for example fonts or videos from an outside service, depends on how it was built in Slider Revolution. Check that in the plugin if privacy matters for your site.
