Importing Demo Sliders
Many pages of the prebuilt websites show a slider above their content. The slider is not part of the page itself. It is assigned to the page in the page options and has to exist on your site.
If you imported pages without their sliders, the page editor shows a box that says the slider cannot be found, with the button Learn How To Import Sliders. This guide explains the three ways to solve it.

Why The Message Appears
When you open such a page in the back-end Builder, a box above the content reads This Slider Is Assigned Via Tirenoa Page Options, followed by the name of the missing slider. The page still remembers which slider it had on the prebuilt website, but that slider was never imported. This can happen when you import Pages of a prebuilt website without its Sliders.
Import The Sliders Of The Prebuilt Website
- Open Tirenoa › Websites and find the prebuilt website the page came from.
- Click Modify, or Import if nothing from this website has been imported with the importer yet.
- Under Import Content, tick Sliders. Also tick Images if you have not imported them, so the slides have their pictures.
- Click Import, confirm with OK and wait until it has finished.
- Reload the page editor. The box now shows the slider with the buttons Edit Slider and Edit Slides.
- Tirenoa Core must be active for Tirenoa Sliders to import.
- The Tirenoa Slider feature must be switched on: Tirenoa › Options › Advanced › Post Types › Tirenoa Slider.
- Sliders made with a separate slider plugin are only imported while that plugin is active.
Import Sliders From A File
Tirenoa Sliders can be moved from one Tirenoa site to another as a zip file. Use this when the slider you need exists on another site of yours.
- On the site that has the sliders, open Tirenoa › Export / Import and click Export All Sliders. The browser downloads a zip file.
- On the site that needs them, open Tirenoa › Export / Import.
- Under Import, choose the zip file and click Upload And Import.
The same screen is in the Tirenoa dashboard menu under Sliders › Export / Import Sliders. It is only available to administrators. The export always contains all Tirenoa Sliders of the site, and the upload accepts files of up to 32 MB.
Then open the page, go to the Sliders tab of the Tirenoa Page Options, set Slider Type to Tirenoa Slider and choose the slider under Select Tirenoa Slider.
Or Remove The Slider From The Page
If you do not want a slider on the page, click Remove Slider in the box and update the page. This sets Slider Type to No Slider and the message is gone. You can assign a slider of your own at any time in the Sliders tab of the page options.
